Puffy AmiYumi have been in bisnuss for almost 9 years! In japan, they have their own fashion line, shoe line, action figures, dolls, and an animated series. In 1995 they first met when Ami entered a contest for Sony music, she said she just wanted to see what they'd write in the rejection letter but the people at Sony were amazed at how well Ami and Yumi's voices blended together. Ami was thrilled. They released a single Ajia no junshin or True Asia, it sold over millions and millions of copies!! they were only going to sing one song and that was it but when their single was selling out they became what they are today. they are determined to take their stardom to where no other singer has gone before, and with their new show Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi which aired on Cartoon Network in the US, they might be the first Japanese Pop/Rock stars to be big in there.
